 Technology & Academic Support Rich Electronic & Bound Library Holdings The Griswold Library is a modern building on the south end of campus. Overlooking the beautiful Cerridwen Farm and distant mountains, it's the perfect place to relax and study. The library also has a strong collection of bound items and periodicals, and access to JSTOR, InfoTrac, and New Bank, and other electronic databases with hundreds of thousands of scholarly and news articles. Calhoun Learning Center With about 15 student tutors, as well as full-time staff available during library hours, the Calhoun Learning Center and its professional staff provoide assistance in course planning, group study, and individualized tutoring. Electronic Classrooms, Wireless, Graphics & Mac Labs Several computer labs are available throughout campus, including 24-hour, Mac, and graphics labs in the Griswold Library. The Dickgiesser Electronic Classroom, on the lower level of the library, also features Internet access at every seat, a wired lectern and color projector run through a computer workstation, for interactive presentations. |
