How would you describe a Green Mountain student?: GMC students have the utmost respect for themselves, their community, and their environment. They are super-friendly and extremely motivated. We’re unique; we stick out in a crowd! What's the Best Place to Hang Out in the Area?: Any campus event, there’s always something fun going on in our community. Athletic events and concerts in the Gorge are always awesome! What's your favorite drink while working?: Local coffee. Favorite Books: Ryan White: My Own Story, an occasional Star Wars novel, and, lately, anything by Hemingway. Favorite Movies: Blue Chips, Good Will Hunting, Return of the Jedi, and Whale Rider. Favorite Place: A swimming hole a few miles up the road from campus. Favorite Activity on a Saturday Afternoon: Exploring the scenic back roads of Vermont on my bike. When I'm out traveling, I'm never without: My bike and camera. I like to see everything when I travel. You can't see everything from a car, but you can see much more on a bike. Plus, they’re better for the environment! Best Part About Vermont: Everything local! Art, music, food, people… Vermont has a unique character. Best Advice for Applicants: We love visitors, so come check out the campus. It will give you a good feel for what the college is all about and what it would be like to be a part of the campus community. |
