Visiting GMC

Visiting is an important part of the admissions process, especially at Green Mountain. We maintain an environment in which learning and trying on new ideas happens every minute. Most of the students who come here say they first sensed that GMC was right for them simply by walking on campus.

The College has a small guesthouse (the Two Editors Inn) which, depending upon availability, may be used by visiting prospective students and their families who are traveling from a distance. There is no charge for a one night stay. Since space is limited, be sure to plan your visit well in advance if you wish to stay overnight at the Inn .

The office of admissions helps arrange meetings with professors, and leads tours of the grounds, typically ending with interviews. Prospective students are encouraged to sit in on a class during their visit.

Come visit our traditional New England campus, meet our students as they walk to classes, or at lunch, and experience for a day what it's like to be part of our community.

Contact us any time to set up a visit. It is important to schedule your visit in advance to be sure that our offices are open and that the appropriate staff and resources are available to you.
